One of the biggest complaints reported when it comes to CPAP machines is the amount of noise they make. Resmed have totally redesigned the motor and  both you and your partner can be guaranteed of a peaceful night’s sleep with no background machine noise to disrupt you.

If you need to make some adjustments to your machine at night, then you won’t have to worry about glaring light from the display screen. This is because this device comes with an ambient light sensor which adjusts the brightness of the screen in relation to the amount of light in a room.

The AirSense™ 11 AutoSet™ also comes with a humidifier, which is optional to use. However, studies have proven that CPAP therapy is much more effective when it is used together with a humidifier. The Expiratory Pressure Relief on the other hand reduces the discomfort experienced when breathing out against the pressure.

This product can detect which kind of apnea you are experiencing, whether it is central or Cheynes-Stokes, and adjust its pressure levels to treat you accordingly. This feature helps assure you that you are getting the best treatment from your machine.

You can also use AirView software to upload your data which your machine will record. The data recorded will include leaks, apnea and pressure levels. If you experience any problems, the data can then be used by your doctor to provide further treatment.

Lastly, it has an AutoRamp feature that detects when the patient has fallen asleep, and it lowers the pressure accordingly. This helps prevent instances where the patient struggles to breathe because of high levels of pressure.
