Lowenstein Prisma A20 Auto
The auto-CPAP device in the new premium Prisma Family from Löwenstein Medical fulfills all the prerequisites for successful treatment. It has a functional operating panel with large touch screen, excellent motor with high-performance reserves and intelligent pressure regulation in the respiratory cycle. The prisma20A also is equipped with several comfort functions and the validated auto-CPAP algorithm with Forced Oscillation Technique technology. The click-into-place humidifier PrismaAqua comes with a heated breathing tube option.
The Prisma 20A is new to Australian Market and has been manufactured with the German Technology. Equipped with Forced Oscillation Technique (FOT) allows the Prisma20A reliably distinguishes obstructive from central apnea. In response to respiratory events, prisma20A automatically and continuously adjusts the pressure to the needs of the patient. Flexible setting options along with process-supporting and comfort-enhancing functions make possible safe, effective and whisper-quiet APAP therapy.
The humidifier is called the PrismaAQUA and comes with fantastic hot rod technology and is exclusive to the Lowenstein devices. Most Humidifiers rely on the stainless-steel base to be heated by a heater plate, but this is not the case with the PrismaAqua. The hot rod protrudes from the Prima to the water chamber and heats the water. This technology provides greater control of the humidity and allows for higher levels if needed.
